Psi Alumni taking part in the SA vs. Namibia Series
Namibia wowed the world when they headed to the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup earlier this year and showed some incredible heart in finishing 9th. The inspiration behind their success was the goal scoring of Psi All-Star, 16-year-old Kiana Cormack. Now the African Champions face the SPAR South African Women in Durban in their first series since the African Qualifier. With South Africa on a 15 match winning streak, Namibia on a high from the World Cup, there is no doubt that this is set up to be one of the best series of indoor hockey we have seen between the two.
Of course, we are extra excited because the growing number of PSi Alumni that are International hockey players. In the upcoming series to be played at Danville Park Girls High School in Durban North, 14 of the 24 players are Psi alumni or in the case of two or three of them current Psi players! We have no doubt they will be at place in International indoor hockey.
